Frequently Asked Questions
There are many boarding facilities, why shouldn't I use one of them?
Many pets do not respond well to being left alone in a cage or around several other barking dogs. An in-home pet sitter can keep your
pet in their routine, keeping their stress level low and help curb destructive behaviors. Kennels can also quickly spread disease,
such as kennel cough.
My neighbor's son is really cheap, and I already know him. Why pay more for a professional?
Despite their best intentions, a child or teenager may get busy and forget to visit your pets. They may not notice something is wrong with your pets or home. They also may not be available when there is an emergency with your pet or home.
Check out a pet sitter carefully, don't go by price alone. They should have references available, be insured and be available for
emergencies.
How do we get to meet you first?
We will always do a free consultation before you make a reservation so you can meet your sitter. We want to make sure your pets will be comfortable with us in their home and you have the opportunity to ask any questions you may have. Call or email us to schedule.
What if there is an emergency with my pet?
We are dedicated to doing whatever it takes to ensure your pet is safe during our visits. If an emergency does arise, we are prepared with
the pet's medical history and vet contacts. We will get detailed information from you before you leave on how you want to handle an emergency and which after hours clinic you prefer. We will not hesitate to call you if we think something may be wrong based
on the history you give us or if there is an obvious cause. We will keep you updated during the whole process.
I have a special needs pet, how can you help me?
We can help spoil your furry family members when you're not able. We can help with taking pets to routine vet visits, checking in on senior pets and administering medicine at specific times of day.
How do I know things went well?
We will leave you a pet report card to let you know of any minor issues. We will always call with any emergency. We want your pets to
enjoy our visits as much as we do! If they didn't seem to do well with us, we want the best for them so we may have other recommendations for the next time you are out of town.
