Or like me, it's been a while since you've had 6 dogs to keep up with in the house, outside, and around food and guests!
A couple things I've learned the hard way...
Guest's purses and coats/coat pockets:
Contents: medications, hair ties, make-up (and their plastic containers) and the fabric the purse is made out of. Plastic and string like material are the worst combinations for your pet to ingest. They can get wrapped up in their intestines
and be very difficult and costly to remove. Hair ties can get wrapped up as well.
Everything IN the kitchen sink:
Any food scraps you are throwing in to put down the disposal later. Human food is
not always safe for dogs. Find a list of non-dog friendly foods here. And just in case, Animal Poison Control: 888.426.4435. Call them if you think your pet has ingested anything.Plastic utensils, like above, if they eat the plastic then the really good smelling dish rag, they could be in trouble.
